Game Development Certificate: Edmonds Community College. Used Visual Basic, C++, Java, GDI/GDI+, DirectX 8 and 9. My favorite coursework revolved around 3-D game mathematics. I produced 3 different 2-D games while there. I was a teaching assistant for the Maya 3-D animation course. I'm familiar with the optimization focuses of game development revolving around graphics presentation, frame rate, device input handling, etc. I generated the graphics for the 2-D projects we completed, including taking a hundred or more photos (and editing them by hand to be blue-screened) for a game where my team and I were the game's characters!

Currently at Washington State University. I'm a Senior in the Computer Science major, going for a B.S. Most of the coursework is completed using C/C++ both in a Unix/Linux environment and in the Windows environment. During Spring 2006's Software Engineering course I created a web application that does event management. It relies on SQL Server 2005 running on Windows Server 2003. It uses ASP.NET 2.0 with a C# code-behind. It is security-enabled with password-protected important data. I intend to deploy it next Fall for that year's IEEE leadership to use in organizing their career fair.

During the Summer semester of the 2004-2005 school year I was a Teaching Assistant for Jack Hagemeister's Computer Science 122 (Data Structures) course.

I am currently a Teaching Assistant/Peer Mentor for Dr. Kelly Fitz's Computer Science 223 (Advanced Data Structures) here at WSU. The position involves two weekly meetings with students in the class. During the first meeting we discuss their implementation plan. During the second meeting we do a technical code review. The position is part of the EECS department's focus on student retention. I give feedback to the instructor that may be used to modify the course content delivery.
